My name is Esme, and I'm a final year Fashion Communication and Promotion student from Brighton, studying at Nottingham Trent University.
My work combines creativity with strategic thinking, creating consumer centered outcomes by relying on in-depth research to inform decision making processes. The course has given me experience in liaising with live clients, working to tight deadlines, and collaborating with other students in order to create relevant and impactful end products. I have been given opportunities to expand my creative skillset throughout my time on the course; developing my proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, working with both still and moving imagery, and creating tailored creative concepts specific to briefs.
I have also been working as a freelance concert photographer since 2022, shooting for publications and working with artists to capture photographs behind-the-scenes as well as onstage. I think it's vital to build a strong personal connection while working with artists in order to create the most authentic content, and I've created some strong industry connections by taking the time to do so.
